Step 4. FRP or Enviro Connect Pipe size?
PRO-ECO-LITE (tm) COMPOSITE HEADWALL STRUCTURES
Canada Patented - US Patent Nos: D477,543 - D477,544
US Patent Pending

The ENVIRO-CONNECTtm SYSTEM

The specific pipe type is fabricated to the XPORTtm insert at the factory. A smooth
transition results in zero loss in pipe cross sectional area. This is very important
where high flow rates and volumes are encountered.

This connection system is not limited to any particular pipe system other than if the
pipe is corrugated it must be annular so that the smooth entry/exit can be maintained at the
headwall face. Consult with your local distributor for information on which pipe systems are
accommodated in inventory. Remember if it is important that the pipe headwall connection be
ENVIRO-CONNECT tm contact the distributor or manufacturer on custom connections for
other pipe types.

This option may be available but not limited to the following pipe: Boss 2000, Armtec CSP,
Ipex, Solenos and Hancor.

** Note: Corrugated pipe fitted for ENVIRO-CONNECT tm must be annular.

The FRP SPIGOT SYSTEM

A universal composite male spigot for fitting to any pipe type.

The FRP spigot requires mechanically fastening, installing backing rod and inserting foam or
grouting between spigot and infield pipe.

This connection although adequate for large diameter pipe is not recommended for outlet
connections on small diameter pipe (300mm or less). The FRP spigot connection reduces
the cross sectional area by as much as 15% on 300mm or less pipe connections. It is
therefore recommended that the ENVIRO-CONNECT tm SYSTEM be used in these
situations.
